This is low profile, but not sure if it will definitely fit that model,

How about this one
MSI GeForce GTX 1050 Ti DirectX 12 GTX 1050 TI 4GT LP 4GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready Low Profile Video Card
$159.99

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Pr...-_-Product

Not sure if it's a deal, because I don't know its price history, also this card will take up 2 slots.

I do have a $10 off $100 promo code for newegg which would bring it to $149.99, if you're willing to trade.

Without specific models, it's hard to say, but in short the two fan ones are usually overclocked (or overclocked higher). In theory the fans should run at lower rpm so quieter and they last longer. Plus some people just like the looks. But the core hardware is the same on both. It's just a question of how hard they're running them.

I'm interested in getting one for a cheap Dell I got from Walmart on another SD - the low power draw is perfect...I know there were deals for eVGA 1050 TIs a few months ago back for $115 but I guess miners are taking these now, thus driving up the price? Any thoughts on how long before we start seeing lower pricing on these low power draw 1050 TI (I can be somewhat patient as I don't need right now) - or are we likely never to see that kind of $115 pricing again on these?

Curious to hear others' thoughts?

I got an EVGA 1050 Ti in February at Microcenter for around $115 open box (which means that it had all of the original warranty). Has been working great in my Dell Optiplex 790 MT. Runs right off the motherboard. Wink
