Chain wide event. YMMV on price per lb at your warehouse. My warehouse was $22.99 lb.

Price = $22.99 lb less $10 at checkout for the package. So in other words, the lighter your package, the more you are saving.

Least expensive pre-wrapped at the time was $32.xx for 4 steaks, so $22 net which was a very good deal.
Here is the math for you down voters on price based on the $32 package I saw... 1.39 lb for $22 = 15.82 lb
The average package was priced around high $30's to mid $40's.

I bet they would custom cut some steaks too, especially if they don't have many out. I didn't have time to ask. They are just so helpful and nice at Costco. I have asked for special help in the meat dept with success before.

very happy with Choice for tenderloin (AKA filet mignon even though technically not 100% accurate)

No you buy a package of 4 steaks. They range in weight. Just like at any store. The price gets $10 deducted at the register. I have touched up the OP. Sorry folks for any confusion. Reps to you for the motivation to rephrase.

Saw a tag over the meat case yesterday while at my local store, so YMMV on price per lb I suppose.

Side note: I have been warned here about the Pinwheel steaks Costco sells, that they contain meat glue which is true. Still tempted to try them as they look so good.
Anyone who tried them, feel free to share your experience please.

I bought the ribeye cap steak from Costco before, without knowing they contains meat glue.

It tastes amazingly good. I prefer ribeye over filet mignon because of the flavor. With the cap steak, you also don't have the long grain, so it's more tender. So to me that's the best combination.

kk, I've always liked these, thought maybe there was something I was missing on their quality or something.

Thanks and repped. I will give it a try.
EDIT: I also was schooled that the ribeye pinwheel steaks do not contain meat glue. My error. Apologies. See farther down thread. Someone straightened me out.

Sorry I didn't ask them. When I saw the thread on the N.Y. strips deal it made me think it was at all stores, but just give them a call if you like to check your area store. If I can get more info I will update.

UPDATED OP:
Sale is chain wide and goes through 10/13 while supplies last.

I sell food for the largest nationwide distributor and let me tell you the ribeyes cap should never have meat glue in it. If it does don't buy because it may not be a whole piece and someone messed it up while cutting. It's not meant to stay curled up and hold together like a true "steak". It will hold a general curled shape after cooked though.

EDIT: No meat glue in the Pinwheel Ribeyes. See below it is blade tenderized. My faulty memory... forgive me please.
