One drink at a bar in Miami can cost you more than the entire round trip flight. Sad but true!

You should lookup Northern Michigan and the UP. There are tons of beautiful lakes in lower Michigan or you could rent a car and drive Up North and stay there, which is one of the most beautiful places in the country. You can go boating or jet skiing in the summer and skiing or snowmobiling in the winter or hunting if that's your thing. You need to stop watching movies and listening to hearsay and actually travel and learn a thing or two about places. You don't have to vacation for these flights anyway, you could you know go there for business, go to see family, go there and drive across to Canada which is about 5 feet away.

This title just needs to read "Detroit to Miami" because... Well... Let's be realistic.

Darn, I just went for a weekend in Miami a few weeks ago on Spirit ~$100 RT fare, but if I could get one for $50 RT I'd do it again with zero hesitation lol. I wish they had something like this originating from EWR/PHL/ABE/AVP or anything around...

Short visits. Not overnight. Or cloudy days for that matter...

Lol, so true, I live in Northern suburbs of DTW. This is so realistic.
Although, someone might have family here and if they are coming from Miami, may be.
