Sprint AAdvantage 30K mile offer

+34 Deal Score
18,587 Views
Hello,

Just saw the Sprint AAdvantage offer just increased to 25K miles right off the bat and 5K for each year. Used to be 20K off the bat and 5K for the year.

If you are thinking about switching to Sprint, you might as well register your AAdvantage #, as this deal stacks with every current Sprint deal out there (phone and plan deals), with the exception of corporate discounts.

Also, as usual, existing Sprint customers can register their AAdvantage #s and start earning 5,000 miles per year. Easy way to keep your AAdvantage miles active as it posts as 417 miles per month.

FWIW, does not work with sprint "free" deal - at least for me - which is not all that surprising.

Any idea if this for each line or per account?

Only one 25,000 miles award per AAdvantage® member.
Only one 25,000 miles award per new Sprint account.

Huh, weird. I have a chat transcript with a rep who checked/confirmed that they did stack.

So if I want the 25k miles and I'm not yet a Spring customer but I don't want to port a number over should I still enter my existing carrier number into the top form?\\

Edit: Nevermind, it looks like they don't have a simple BYOP plan that doesn't involve a trip to the store. Was just planning on activating a junk unlocked phone I have for 30 days to get the miles, but it looks like you have to go to the store to activate.

FYI for everyone, SERO lines don't qualify either. Tried registering a few weeks ago and was denied.

Do you just have to keep the line for 1 month? What's the cheapest option?

I'd be interested if I could use my current phone (iPhone 7) that is active on Verizon to go activate an account with Sprint on the minimum plan that qualifies for this deal. It looks like one month minimum to qualify. I'd go one month and one or two days, just to be sure. $75 or less for 25k miles would be a sweet deal, you can get a roundtrip domestic ticket if travel is planned at least slightly in advance. This would be suuuuper slick if they had a limited data/minutes budget plan that qualified. But I've never used Sprint personally. Anyone have any insight?

Last year, I tried to add this offer to my Sprint account and it removed my corporate discount. Apparently, one discount/offer per account.
