This is short notice because the Target Cartwheel 20% coupon on movies ends tonight, but I was at my local Target and saw that they have E.T. - The Extraterrestrial on Bluray (with DVD and digital copy) for $13.00. Here is the item on Target.com (where it is $14.99) -
E.T. - The Extraterrestrial [target.com]
I found that the
steelbook version of this bluray movie is on the shelf with the regular version and it rings up at the same price - $13.00. With the Cartwheel 20% coupon, the price is $10.40 (and just $9.88 with RedCard) for the steelbook version.
The steelbook version of this movie is a Target exclusive and it is not on Target.com.
I've found that it is fairly typical for Target to price the steelbook version of a movie the same as the regular version in a plastic case. If you ever see a steelbook mixed in with the regular version at Target, scan it to check the price. It will probably be the same price.
YMMV because not all Target stores will have the steelbook version in stock.
Also, the 20% coupon ends tonight.
