as far as i know the high milage one contains more protective additives for cars above 80k miles

Have you been using synthetic the whole time? I switched at 50k on a Camry & all my seals started weeping oil. Nothing catastrophic but would hate to try selling the car with that condition.

I think High Mileage is supposed to help the weeping seals but YMMV.

I change my oil every 5k or so miles. The brand doesn't matter to me. But it might for others given their change intervals.

If you don't have leaking seals, don't use "high mileage". I assume you are already using "synthetic" and don't have leaks, too.
