Have 2 Ring Doorbell Pro at 2 houses, I really want to love them as the ecosystem is really attractive, however just too many hardware/algorithm issues with Ring. Plus customer service is just meh, just asking you to reset/restart.. I would give 3/5 and not recommended for the time being. Take a look at various forums where people discuss Ring, some of the common problems are listed below.

One of the major problem for me as well, is, it keeps missing the most important clips, aka freezes when people enter the frame. Meanwhile if it's recording B&W at nights, it gets better, apparently it's the coding issues. Lots of people are suffering this although having good wifi and voltage.

Footage is often heavily very pixel-ized, despite 1080p, the quality is abysmal.

The motion alert algorithm isn't quite refined either. Shades of your yard plants will easily trigger the alert making it very annoying and almost useless. Good thing is you can customize motion zones to avoid the issue if possible.

Again the ideas are fine, just can't recommend Ring products for now. Heard Nest Doorbell is coming, you might want to wait and see.

Edit: Just to be fair, installing a new transformer might fix freezing issues, but not IQ. Plus it's another investment and much harder DIY project (some can't even easily locate the transformer).
I've had the original Ring and recently installed the Ring Pro for a neighbor. I'd stay away from the Pro. The regular Ring was easy to install and always had good connectivity. The pro is very nit picky. Along with the fact you need to install a separate wiring within your home doorbell itself. Their router is just in the room above yet there is a lag from pressing the doorbell to it actually ringing inside and my neighbor getting notification on his phone. Stick with the original or the V2 that just came out.

What does work with Alexa mean? Like the echo show? So u can see who is at door? Or how would you use this with Alexa?

Yes you can ask Alexa to show you the front door and the ring doorbell will come up on your Echo show screen.

Do you know what your 'power settings' are on the Pro that you're having issues with? Sometimes mine said 'poor' to 'very poor' so I get to the pro power cable to deal with it. That might take care of some of the issues you're having.
