This isn't sold by NewEgg directly. It's a 3rd party retailer on NewEgg (iElectrica [newegg.com]). I guess it depends on how diligent a Best Buy sales rep would be to check before giving you the price match.

Nothing. LG does not require the set be purchased from an authorized dealer to honor the warranty.

However, this price is just not that great. I'm waiting for another Beach Camera/BuyDig deal.

Edit: The price I was referring to is the 55". The 65" price actually beats the BuyDig deal.

Why?

5 posts above yours someone already explains being "authorized" or not is meaningless for warranty purposes with LG televisions.
