Good price because SFB seems to be going up everywhere. Always buy French Roast or Fog Chaser and don't know how these 2 compare.

Note: Was just checking Amazon reviews and a lot of the recent ones are complaining about their newer pods causing problems with pods "exploding" and getting the grounds all over. People seem to be sitting it out until SFB resolves the issue.

There is a deal thread on SFB French roast 80 count .https://slickdeals.net/f/10690700-amazon-prime-san-francisco-bay-keurig-k-cup-french-roast-80-count-22-02-0-28-count?v=1&src=SiteSearch
I was checking amazon reviews and there are much more positive than negative reviews,

I have never had a problem with San Francisco Bay and had been waiting for a deal like this before I bought again.

juliebeans - I've been using SFB pods for several years and have never had a problem, either. However, the problem seems to be a very recent one - since they made some sort of change to the packaging of their pods. It was mentioned that SFB included a flyer with the new ones explaining the change in the materials used, and only these new ones have the problem.

For those that have Costco membership, the French Roast is $29.99 for 100, plus a $5.00 off via coupon book, so $24.99 or 25 cents/cup

I haven't tried Caza Trail yet. What type did you try and like?

Donut shop blend. Their k-cups are not as environment friendly as SFB k-cups.

I have been drinking the French Roast for a couple years now with nothing but stellar reviews for it. Never had any issues with their K-cups in any Keurig.

Was wondering if anyone who likes the French Roast has some feedback for the Organic Rainforest

My Costco stopped carrying it, so I stopped looking for it. Perhaps they started up again.

A little history on SFB: Costco is where I first discovered SFB several years ago. At the time, $23.99 for 80 cups was incredibly cheap and I couldn't resist. I was hooked from then on. Also, being a newcomer with their environment-friendly pods, they included a heavy-duty snap-lock container that held a whole bag of pods to keep them fresh after opening. They changed to a cheaper light-weight deli-type container, and eventually discontinued including containers.

Never had a problem with sfb kcups. That's our staple. Standard at Costco is $0.30/cup. We used to brew/drink the rainforest blend so I may get these to try it out. Thanks!

I just bought this deal last week. Excellent price. I hate using those plastic K-cups and much prefer these biodegradable pods.

I find the French Roast to be a little over roasted - kind of tastes like SB's coffee. Still, good coffee.

I called the company to request a sample of that breakfast blend because I didn't want to commit to 120 pods if I didn't like it. They told me that they don't give out any samples but I can come into their store in SF (I'm in NY) and buy a cup.
