This is the Costco exclusive bundle. The piano retails elsewhere as Roland FP30 and has great reviews. It is a prosumer model that competes with Yamaha P115 and Kawai ES100, and at this price this is a great deal.
How does this compare to Yamaha P-115 or Casio PX-160?C
The Roland FP-30 is similar to the FP-25 in terms of sound and features, though the 25 does not have Bluetooth and the 30 does not come standard with a stand and 3 pedals.
Today I saw Casio CDP-235CSCB 88 Key with stand, bench and pedal on sale for $349.99($449.99-$100) at local Costco store. How does it compare to Casio PX-160 or Roland FP-25? Thanks!
I can't speak personally to a comparison to other similar models. But this Roland is a wonderful sounding piano, and while nothing feels exactly like a real piano, this is pretty darn close.
I have to say the stand and pedal board are much better than I'd thought they'd be. The pedal board, especially, has way more piano feel than the plug in pedal we used with the old keyboard.
This Roland was a replacement for a ~25 year old Roland EP 9. The old Roland had the glue holding the waits in fail after about 15 years. But they apparently have long since switched types of adhesives, and the old Roland was really great for a lot of use for a lot of years. I'm hoping this new one holds up as well.
tax (~$40+) kills the deal. costco calculates tax based on price before discount.
especially when Roland FP30 was on sale for $500 a couple of months ago.

"Includes Piano, Stand, Pedalboard & Headphones"
It didn't have accessories before. I'd estimate $150 for the stand & pedalboard.
I really want this piano, but I just bought a guitar and a rifle, so I'm waiting.

I've got an old Roland digital piano, presumably ~15-20+ years old as well (unsure which model and am out of town at moment) -- aside from pedal board, how does the rest compare? is sound a lot better? What about feel? Really tempted to upgrade...

The new one is light years better. Unbelievable. Now, our old Roland EP-9 had some really hard use for years. Maybe that degraded performance more than I realized. But the feel of the old one (which, by the way, wasn't bad!) had no comparison to the new one. Much MUCH more like playing a piano and much MUCH less like playing a keyboard.
