To activate the offer, (1) Choose ship option (not instore pickup), (2) add an item priced more than $50 (minimum for free shipping), (3) the item must be available for pickup in your store. Once the offer is activated, you can delete the item from your cart.
You should see a popup offer of $5 KC if switch to store pickup, and similar messages in shopping bag, during checkout and in order confirmation email.
Some people also said they saw the $5 promotion in blue lettering in their cart and also on their order confirmation email. If you have those then you should be able to collect if they do not send it automatically with the pickup confirmation email. Otherwise, just be prepared to make a phone call to argue for your $5.
If this is working as stated for some one then maybe they can post what item it worked on and whether the promotion was displayed on website and within their order confirmation email?

- Clicked on the shopping cart icon on the top bar and then clicked "View Bag" which is to the right of the items in the cart
- Underneath the green Check-Out button at the top (not the one at the bottom) there would be a blue outlined dollar sign with the message "Get $5 Kohl's Cash when you choose FREE STORE PICK-UP"
- I removed the Fitbit and then changed all the items to pick-up, and then the message changes to a filled blue icon and "Your $5 Kohl's Cash will be included in your store pickup confirmation email"
