If I didn't just buy the CPU a few weeks ago this would be tempting.

Yeah, I jumped on the deal like 2 weeks ago for like $1170 now I am kicking my self
I feel like half of those reviews are people that don't understand that memory placement on a high end motherboard is important.
Hopefully GIGABYTE has had enough time to iron out any issues.

But without all that RGB what would you do?!
I simply couldn't figure out why every launch x399 board was lit up light a Christmas tree. I would have thought HEDT system that run a chip that is not intended for gaming would look a little more professional.
I was specifically looking for a case without a window for this build, but eventually caved when the Meshify C was on sale last week. I guess I just don't get the whole RGB thing.

But I think all the RGB light can be turn off if u don't want it. Since these are expansive motherboard. You have to get what you pay for.
Agreed, I got the 1950x with the Asus zenith extreme in late sept, majority of the reviews were scary as this was just my 3rd and most expensive build, over double the price of my last 2 computers I built. But the mobo works great and putting it all together was easy. It even has a preconfigured overclock settings that brought it up to 4ghz base 4.7ghz turbo. Got my ram to its actually speed of 3000mhz easily...I just love it, so yeah mobo reviews are pretty inaccurate, I made my decision based on YouTube builds I saw.
