From what I can gather so far the LCD 2 Classic has the fallowing differences:

- No fazor elements
- non-wood construction
- Headband is either the new style and different than the original but may or may not be the same as current model (not clear yet)
- One artical said it would be the same sound as the original an other said it would be a "slightly darker sound signature than that of the original LCD-2 driver thanks to its large, ultra thin-film diaphragms and double-sided magnetic structure" (also not clear to me yet)

No more spending for me for a few months, so I'm waiting for the next sale/Black Friday deals and see if I can spring for an LCD 3 or something.
