The email I got says with purchase on installment of any iphone, but the details implies only activation is required.

Where do you see that? The only service I see that probably isn't eligible is US Cellular, and that's because installment isn't available with them.......on an upgrade, not so sure. And not so sure if you have to do it via the installment plan.....details says one gift card per activation
That is not true. My store uses Verizon, At&t, and Sprint all 3 carriers are eligible for deal if your store has the item in stock during the sale.
Yes supply may be limited, I can't speak for other stores but my store has 5 X's in stock with more on order. Hopefully we will have more by the time of sale.

Only thing I would like to know (and was asked above) can you combine this deal with Verizon's trade in deal to knock down the price of an X?
