The description for the HP OMEN 870-244 Desktop provided by OP is slightly wrong. There are 4 USB 3.0 ports.

From Website:
Quote :
Desktop also features: DVD/CD burner; next-gen Wireless-AC connectivity; Bluetooth 4.2; 4 USB 3.0 and 6 USB 2.0 ports; 1 HDMI output; 3 DisplayPort outputs; 1 DVI port; built-in media reader

No clue, but I'll offer my opinion. You can run them at the same time, but I feel like you wouldn't care about Witcher performance while using Photoshop. And vice versa, while playing Witcher, you wouldn't care about Photoshop performance. It just seems like an odd question. It would only take a few seconds to load or close Photoshop. It being open while playing a game shouldn't be a concern.

Is this a better deal than Pavilion 580 one?

In for one; although it feels too good to be true... The VR headset alone is $350 MSRP and I was planning on getting one anyway.

At least that is how I'm justifying it right now.

UPDATE: Received the Dell Inspiron I5675-A596BLU Desktop and visor last night. Everything works perfectly, but with one big problem: the system only has 1 HDMI output! The rest are entirely DisplayPort. So, if you have multiple monitors, you better have DisplayPort cables ready. I can't even plug in the mixed reality visor. Rush ordered some (it was an oversight on my part). Otherwise, it is working well!

Definitely swap the OS partition to a SSD when you get a chance.

Which is the better deal out of these three for general gaming and content creation? (amateur video and photo editing). I'm leaning toward the Dell.

That....seems....a bit too ridiculously good in terms of price. Blink I just set up an Ryzen 1600X + Lenovo WMR headset for way more than that. Now I'm kinda regretting it. (Not the headset....love the headset. Just the money I spent vs this.)

Almost bought the Dell for my 12 yo son at this price before it included the VR headset. Been looking for a decent/affordable gaming rig for him and couldn't pass this up. Considering flipping the VR headset to help offset the cost but might keep that aside for a Christmas gift. Definitely will keep my eyes open for upgrading the internal storage to something faster. My sons are 9, 12 and 15 and they could care less about video games systems, it's all PC.

I asked it before but can that Dell run Photoshop and The Witcher 3 on ultra at the same time? Serious question.

Got one. I almost bought the Dell with similar specs (https://slickdeals.net/f/10785087-dell-inspiron-5675-desktop-pc-ryzen-7-1700-16gb-ddr4-1tb-hdd-radeon-rx-580-8gb-win-10-849-99-more-free-shipping-best-buy) last week for $850. At least this one comes with the VR gear I can try to flip.

Besides the additional VR gear isn't this system the same as the $850 deal last week?

Edit: it's exactly the same system (I see the bundle and the Dell system matches what I had in my cart). Woo-hoo! Glad I waited
