New, effective last week, all veterans with an honorable discharge can now shop at AAFES.

I'm far from a Bose fanboy, but this little bugger is a fantastic little speaker. There are some good, inexpensive aftermarket cases that make this a perfect travel speaker.

If only I could convince my Mom to sign up for AAFES online (I'm an aging military brat, and the PX/BX was always a good place to buy stuff). I'm not sure about now, but they used to not charge sales tax.

Never any sales tax. You do have to watch the prices but the sales are usually very good!

Back in the day I got some Infinity speakers (for home and car) and a Carver amp for way cheap. The Infinity dealer said the car speakers were under his cost (not sure if that was true). I'm not sure if the A/V deals are as good as they used to be, but this deal is about as cheap as I've seen the Soundlink Mini.

We used to buy everything from the PX. I miss it dearly.
