Own 4, no probs. One had HDMI board flake, fixed it myself. 9 years old now, working fine.

$5 better on gift card then their offer last week when the gift card offer was only $120....Darn Smilie I ordered the Denon 3300 last week from NewEgg and it's really a great deal...even sweeter when you add the extra $25 which can be had through one of the "money back" web sites or apparently masterpass.

Is that Onkyo refurbished? It says 1 year warranty, but Onkyo Receivers come with 2 year warranties.

The denon is great....based on reviews. I was looking at buying that but a sony 1080 came up at half the cost of the denon, so I got that instead.
Was there a thread on the Sony deal? The cheapest I've seen the Sony STR-DN1080 is $400 so far (from Best Buy). Open box was cheaper, but I didn't see any in my area.

How would that Denon pair up with either the monoprice 5.1 set or the Harmon kardons that was up the other day?

Probably typo, should be 2 if new.

overkill. those speakers won't show off the capabilities of this receiver. i would spend more and get better speakers.by more i mean at least 3x more.

if you're going to go budget, might as well get a budget receiver too. the avrs530bt was $130 recently, but that may have been a pricing error.

What's the 5.1 equivalent of the Denon? I don't need 7.2.
