These are excellent for the price. Sound quality is awesome, and the Jaybird app allows you to customize the sound to your liking. I have a few different presets I use depending on what I'm listening to, and I love having that ability as opposed to something like Beats, which tends to give you more bass, but it may not be as good of a balance when listening to acoustic music or even podcasts.

That being said, I actually tried both the Freedoms, and the X3, and I ended up keeping the X3 instead. I had problems keeping the Freedoms staying in my ears comfortably due to the battery being housed in the volume control. The X3s don't budge at all. ALso the X3 lasts 8 hours, while the Freedom only lasts 4. While the extra charging clips are useful, it also makes the volume control unit even bulkier still. If you don't mind that, and are just using these in the home or office, then I'd highly recommend these for this price. If you're gonna be moving about more, or working out with them, I'd rather have the X3s.

Guess I'll get the Best Buy ones now and just hope that Costco comes back in stock at this price so I can get the extra foam tips and battery.
