This is the lowest price i've ever seen for the CR-10. I own a few of these and they are absolutely amazing to print with.
The
CR-10 is onsale for $359.99 but with
coupon code THEGBCR10 it will drop it down to
$319.99
The code only currently works on the US Plug option.
This is their Black Friday special price but it looks like the code works early!

The
CR-10 S is also onsale for
$445.75 with
coupon 1111GBCR10S - this is the upgraded version of the regular CR-10. Same build volume just includes some additional features - dual z rod, filament runout sensor, power failure print resume.

The advantages of the 'S' over the vanilla CR-10 are somewhat arguable, more quality of life stuff than things that will provide an immediately noticeable benefit, however, it should come with a bootloader pre-installed, which makes upgrades like auto bed-leveling a lot easier to achieve, without some 300-level fiddling (you otherwise need jumper wires and an Arduino to flash the bootloader onto the stock CR-10, and it requires opening the control box).
For a first printer, the Prusa i3 mk3 is probably the better way to go, and it will save you considerable headaches right off the bat, albeit at a cost of ~$440 more.
If you already have a 3d printer, or have the time to learn how to use one, the CR-10 is impossible to beat at the price, comes with premium features normally found on much, much pricier machines, and apart from the notoriously warped aluminum print beds / factory glass build surface, more or less a no-brainer to assemble. The way they bundled the cords to use a single connector at the control box is particularly nice.
Just purchased mine a few months back, and have reasonably good knowledge of pricing for it since release—apart from a guffaw with Wish, where someone didn't setup a promo code properly, and folks were getting these machines (and even the 400 x 400 x 400 and 500 x 500 x 500 mm CR-10 S4 and CR-10 S5 printers for ~70% off—something I'm still angry for missing), this matches the lowest I've seen the vanilla CR-10.
Good machine, just expect to spend a couple hundred $ is man-hours if it's your first printer, and also for urlhasbeenblocked to take their sweet time in shipping it out. Mine took about three weeks.

Tevo Tornado > CR-10
One aspect that I love about the CR-10 is the huge community for Support
