I am blown away by the incredible amount of misinformation on this deal.
I mean does it ever cross your mind to Google the info you are stating as fact...b4 posting?
The 4mp cameras...are easily worth over $100 a piece. Regular they sell for over $150 per camera. These are high quality, perform well enough for me at night...especially when there is other light like porch lights...driveway lights. In co.pletely pitch black, I have seen $500 cameras not provide enough detail to make an ID not even get a clear face shot....
POE is a revolution when it comes to surveillance systems. 1 cord to provide data and power, that can be designated and setup many different ways.
This is an 8 channel system...with options to add cameras.....ANY POE CAMERAS.
This NVR system is intuitive and has all the features you need, the app and remote login work great and again provide everything you need. Want a text message or an email when 1 of your cameras detects something....no problem builtin to the software.
I'm sure as hell no professional, but I have setup many systems and I have experience using many types of systems....this system is pretty much everything in the box. Noone mentoned how a lot of these cheap setups don't include the cables to the cameras...this has 4 x 100ft cables. Also a lot of the budget systems only allow 1 HD...with option to connect an external...with this system you have ample room to go away for a 3-4 weeks no problems. And yes you can adjust the record quality to prolong your storage.
If you were really considering this...I would highly recommend, and I rarely post but the misinformation here was killing me.
This is a great deal, just picked up this kit on a similar price deal a few months ago.
Not sure what you mean by "support WiFi," unless you're asking if the NVR can be connected to WiFi-enabled cameras. I believe the answer to that is "sorta" but I haven't tried. It'd be similar to using a router/switch to plug in your cameras. It's supported by the NVR, but I believe some features aren't available.
The main reason I got this is the convenience of PoE, you only need one cord going to the camera. They provide four 100ft Cat5E cables (or maybe it was Cat6, I can't remember). Either way, I thought that was really clutch as well.
The system can be monitored using your cell phone using the LaViewNet app, though it's not the most intuitive set up process. Here's a screenshot[imgur.com] from my phone of the night vision quality.
I thought the fan on the NVR was quite loud in it so I replaced it with a 40mm Noctua fan.

LaView has a Cyber monday discount code CYBER - which you can use to buy additional cameras. www.laviewsecurity.com
ALSO they have a great deal on Cyber Monday for a 1080p WiFi video doorbell - which i think you can get to record to this NVR
Recommend considering this video Doorbell product.
Hikvision OEM, 1080p, wifi,...
Ideally you want to install a surveillance system rated sata HDD. Prior to the availability of such HDD NAS rated HDDs had been very popular. ( for 24/7 rated operations )
Thus WD purple or Seagate skyhawks are preferred. WD Reds probably would also last. HDDs not rated for 24/7 operation will typically work, just probably die sooner.
UPDATE: Regarding additional cameras
LaView has BF deals on individual PoE cameras, so if you need more cameras please check out the BF deals at LaView.com

If you mean can it record wifi cameras, then the answer is yes. I have mine recording some internal foscam cameras. You can also setup remote viewing.
This is going to work way better than my current 720p system.
