In other words, these are better than the new ones they're currently making O.o
And no, these don't expand pass 50lb. So if you're dead set on 50lb dumbbells max, you're good to go.

Great feedback, thanks for being helpful. The questions on Amazon have some people claiming they only got 1, that's why I had a doubt. But now all clear thanks to your marvelous input here.
Thank you, yes, fully caught the pluralization, but some questions and comments on the Amazon page have people saying they only received one while expecting a set. Just making sure as 229 for a set is pretty slick.

I recommend to get the elite. I had this set and outgrew 50 lbs in 3 months for bent rows
You are so so helpful. Just don't comment if you plan to answer their question like that. It is helpful in no way besides some enjoyment for yourself I'm assuming.
