In other words, these are better than the new ones they're currently making O.o
And no, these don't expand pass 50lb. So if you're dead set on 50lb dumbbells max, you're good to go.

Thank you, yes, fully caught the pluralization, but some questions and comments on the Amazon page have people saying they only received one while expecting a set. Just making sure as 229 for a set is pretty slick.
