These are actually really nice. They're the best 5-50lb Powerblock variant imo because they go in increments of 2.5lb even the odd increment like 12.5lb, 22.5lb.. x2.5lb where as even the newer models don't do that. The newer powerblocks skips those for whatever reason.

In other words, these are better than the new ones they're currently making O.o

And no, these don't expand pass 50lb. So if you're dead set on 50lb dumbbells max, you're good to go.

Fantastic deal. I wish they were expandable but I'll take it and use separate weights for the higher weights.

The title says "Set" and the description says "Pair of adjustable dumbbell weights for efficient, cost-effective strength training"

Great feedback, thanks for being helpful. The questions on Amazon have some people claiming they only got 1, that's why I had a doubt. But now all clear thanks to your marvelous input here.

Thank you, yes, fully caught the pluralization, but some questions and comments on the Amazon page have people saying they only received one while expecting a set. Just making sure as 229 for a set is pretty slick.

Note: This seems almost equivalent to the Elite 5-50 [powerblock.com] without the ability to expand. The Elite's are $299 direct from PowerBlock or Dicks. If you need to expand, consider upgrading.

Anytime. My post was as clear as the question you asked. If you would've included that information in the first post then we wouldn't be having this conversation, would we?

I recommend to get the elite. I had this set and outgrew 50 lbs in 3 months for bent rows

I have no dog in this fight but I'm sick of people like you. Your post had no point besides to make that person feel dumb. Honestly do you sit at home and comment to yourself "Nice I made 5 people feel dumb today, I'm a great person. "
You are so so helpful. Just don't comment if you plan to answer their question like that. It is helpful in no way besides some enjoyment for yourself I'm assuming.

Agreed, the elites are much better due to the ability to expand. Dicks will likely have their 20 percent off promo soon, possibly for cyber Monday, dropping the price to 240. They just had 20 percent off for black Friday.
