Anyone used a SnoreRx mouthpiece?

Hello, I'm probably going to order a SnoreRx device (Mandibular Adjustment Device) to try out today since there's a Cyber Monday deal, but I was curious to hear if anyone on here has had any experience with these and can share.

My thoughts:

- Fairly skeptical that a snoring solution exists and isn't widely reported on
- Not ridiculously expensive
- The mechanism does make superficial sense for reducing snoring
- Cleaning is a hassle
- It'll really put a damper on first impressions with a new girl
- There's a likelihood of jaw pain, though they say you can adjust it and your mouth does get accustomed

Anyway, please do share your experience. I still have a few hours before the deal ends.

I went ahead and ordered the device just now. Should get here sometime next week, I imagine. I'll update with my results, if anyone's interested, so...let me know if you're interested!

I just realized I never updated this thread. I did receive the device, but it was a bit of a hassle to use. I deformed the mouthpiece a bit by holding it with tongs while it was malleable, so watch for that. Anyway, I tried it a couple of nights, but I didn't feel any different from sleeping without it except that it wasn't very comfortable to wear.

I ended up returning it.

I'm still snoring as always.

I have been using CPAP for a year. My insurance covered 50% and I had to pay out of pocket the other 50%. Can't say I love it but it does prevent snoring and I did get used to it somewhat. I do sleep through the night and not wake up as often like before. I still long for the days when I did not have to strap something to my face just to get a decent night sleep. It is not the most comfortable and I have tried a variety of masks. The strap on works best because air doesn't escape and it doesn't fall out easily. Sorry for the lengthy rambling.

As a CPAP wearer, I can say that your post was not long!

I hate having to wear mine, but if I go 2 or 3 days without it...I am seriously dragging ass at that point. So it does do what it's supposed to do.
