Can you not read? He very clearly said "Walmart HAD it at $575", you asked him for links, and he got them for you. You didn't have the courtesy to give him some rep, or even just thank him. Instead, you say "the deal is no longer valid", which he (and everyone else but you) already figured out when he said "had".
The device model is SM-G950U1 and is unlocked US variant. However, below is a note from Republic wireless website that says CDMA is temporarily unavailable.

CONNECTIVITY
WiFi: 802.11b/g/n/ac (2.4 GHz & 5Ghz) + MIMO
Cellular:
GSM (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz);
CDMA (temporarily unavailable): (800, 1900 MHz)
4G LTE (Cat11 DL, Cat5 UL) (B1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8,12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 28, 29, 30, 66)
Bluetooth: v5.0 (LE up to 2Mbps)
Location (GPS, Galileo, Glonass, BeiDou)
ANT+
USB type-C
NFC
1) It doesn't change that you read it wrong

2) You still didn't say thanks for replying to you with the link you asked for

3) He was simply saying this deal wasn't the "best" you could get, based on a very recent deal.

The vast majority of SDers are looking for the BEST deal and don't mind waiting a few days or weeks for it. They also don't want to buy something if there is even a chance it may go on sale for less any time soon.

You my friend are in the minority here. You were wrong, and I think most SDers would agree with me.

This is unlocked US variant. Republic wireless is a MVNO for Sprint and T-Mobile networks. Not sure which network this phone would be on. Either ways, it should work with Sprint BYOD.

If it's a Sprint MVNO then it should be blacklisted from service directly on Sprint, right for 6 months ?

No CDMA hurts the resale value down the road.
