Bought this a year ago for $53 on amazon because I needed a quick chimney cleaning because I have a wood stove. Its absolutely amazing, go up from the bottom of your chimney so you don't have to climb up a latter. One of the best things I've purchased as a homeowner.

Hmmm... I didn't like mine so much that I used it only once, and that over 5 years ago.

I used it from top down and it was in 6 inch stove pipe (about 25 ft). Must use a powerful drill.

I just use the sticks like i did before I bought this one... and still do (top down) .... BYMMV

I bought this earlier this year. It worked great! I was surprised how much soot/creosote it knocked off.

This thing is amazing! I bought it at $50+ and would have easily paid $100, knowing how well it works! Not to mention how easy it is to use. At $30 it's a steal!

Did the rods work with a regular chimney brush head, or do they only fit on this spin brush? These look to be cheaper than buying rods for a normal brush

So you do the cleaning from top of the chimney, outside?

I want to buy it, but sounds like cold and lots of work! 😁

What happens when the debris come down and get stuck on top of the fireplace insert or dampers, and hard to reach to vacuum?

I'm thinking of putting the fireplace to use after owning the house for 7 years. Need to put an insert in it first.
