Omg I Feel So Bad! But I Can't Stop Laughing

So here is the situation...
I have used Nair (on my girl parts) and was happy with the results. It sort of burns a little, but not bad and it always subsides quickly after washing it off. Well, Jexy normally keeps his area trimmed up but I suggested he try some Nair For Men. So I got him some. Tonight, I get a frantic phone call because his nuts are on fire! And I can hear it in his voice that he's in alot of pain. I called the Nair hotline and they transferred me to Poison Control since it was after hrs.
So I'm on the phone with Poison Control and I said that it was me who had used the product (I called since he was in alot of pain and just said that it was me because I figured they would give the same advice) and they asked where and when I used it, I said about 10 min ago and that I had used it on my lower lady parts. Then they asked for the product code and I read it off to them. "The operator says umm you know this is a product for men right?" So I said yes, my male friend also used it and is having the same reaction. So she asks me when and where he used it and I said uhh same time and same place. Then there was a sort of awkward pause. She asked if we did patch tests and I said no we just started putting it on all over down there. Then we both experienced INTENSE burning and even after thoroughly washing it off, it still burned really bad. She suggested a couple things but said that we needed to get it checked out if the burning continued.
I called Jex back and he said it was getting a little bit better. I feel really bad, but I can't stop laughing, neither can he and it's probably making his nuts hurt worse.
