Many of us had that issue. There is a thread out here on that topic from the last 200 deal you can search for. There was a specific DNS change we made that brought our devices back online.


edit....I think these were the DNS settings we used on the OBI110 to make it work again.

If I remember correctly, Callcentric has unlimited inbound calls (no outbound). I think they call it Freedom plan or something similar. However they have limited choice of area code that you can select from unless you go for paid plan.

Edit: Free plan has no 911.

This may only be a temporary fix or it might work for a very long time.

Sip Login = GV18005551212 (replace 8005551212 with your actual Google Voice number)
Sip Password = 12 character alphanumeric sequence; if you do a copy/paste make sure to remove the trailing space before pasting
Server = gvgw.simonics.com

Armed with this information I logged into obitalk.com dashboard. I didn't see a specific option for Simonics gateway under service providers. Common sense suggested I try the "Generic Service Provider" option. I filled it in like this.

Service Provider Proxy Server = gvgw.simonics.com
Service Provider Proxy Server Port = 5060
Outbound Proxy Server = gvgw.simonics.com
Outbound Proxy Server Port = 5060
Username = GV18005551212
Password = {PASSWORD}
URI = (nothing)​

Make existing OBi100 / OBi110 working again
While I do recommend to get this OBi200/202 deal, if you still want your OBi1xx working, I think Simonics Gatway is an expensive way to keep it alive for now. I don't get delay and all inbound and outbound calls work as is.

I had problem with it using Obitalk dashboard method so I set it up on Obi device itself which works well. See my post below for for info:

Using the above link should reduce the set up fee to Simonics.com to just $4.99 as opposed to the usual $5.99 if you are looking to get your Obi 100/ 110 device working again.
