We're home!!!!!!!!!

Catching up on the thread! Lol I see that Amber did an awesome job updating everyone!! Some additional info I'll add since I didn't tell Amber everything.

My mom left the hospital to go let the dog out and pick up the kids from daycare. When she left I started feeling some pain down below. I wasn't going to say anything to the nurse and I was thinking "I'll be ok,it'll stop I'll be ok" then it was like " OHHHHHHH SHITTTTTT THIS HURTSSSSS!!!!!!" I told my nurse that I have a dead spot and I wanted to switch positions NOW!!! She said well let me check you first. She did and I was at 10 cm and the baby was coming down! She said to call my mom back quickly bc it was time.

I was rolled onto my back and I was having an intense burning sensation,it felt like I was on fire from the inside. The pressure was so intense it was just pain. With alyssa I felt pressure like I had to poop. This was different. The nurse started running around getting things set up,my mom was called and came back. I started telling the nurse that I had to push etc. She told me NOT to push (that was an act of God not to push) I put a washcloth over my head and was trying to breathe through the pain and having to push. I could feel every contraction by this point. We had to wait 20 min for the doc to come catch the baby. I was trying not to curse so all you could hear was "shoot" "frick" "ow" "pain" "fire" etc being repeated all over again. I asked the nurses if anyone could catch the baby and they said No,my mom jumped in and said "I'll catch!" I was soooooo tempted to let her catch the baby. When the doc FINALLY walked in I was chanting "shoot, shoot, shoot" and my friend said "Hey doc I think she's planning on shooting you if you don't get down here and catch the baby". The nurse pulled the washcloth off my head and said that I wasn't going in front of the firing squad and to watch everything that was going on. My doc told me on the next contraction to push as hard as I can. At this point I didn't care if I pooped or peed on the table I pushed as hard as I could and I had her in 3 pushes. It felt soooooooooo good to have the pressure and pain relieved.

Lillian was born at 4 30 pm central standard time. She weighed 7 lbs 0.9 ounces so they say it's just 0 oz. She's 19 1/2 inches long. She had low blood sugar when she was born so they fed her formula right away, then waited 20 min to heelstick her again and her blood sugar was fine.

She is still on forumla and eating 1 to 1 3/4 ounces every 2 to 3hours. All the meconium is gone and now we are on the yucky stinky yellow poop vomit

Congrats to Thurman and Addison!!!!! I'm sooooooo happy to hear about the babies Smilie

Omg she's so adorable RW Smilie

Here's a pic I took of Lillian tonight. She's 3 days old! Man I can't believe it.

I'm calling my doc tomorrow to see if I can get on some anti depression meds. I'm a wreck and I just don't know how long I can go like this. Frown

Zoloft is generic - worked for me after both kiddos. There is such a hormonal roller coaster as it is... add in a flake of a SO and you're in for a hell of a ride. Best to get on top of the problem sooner rather than later, but remember it can take 2 weeks to really kick in, so hang in there. hug

She's absolutely adorable!

Do you have a good support system with your friends and family? Don't be ashamed to call on them anytime you feel overwhelmed. hug

yeah I have a good support system. If I take advantage of it. I feel like an idiot blubbering to them and possibly crying so usually I just hold it in and wait till I'm alone then freak out and cry. Alone time scares me because I no longer have to put on a brave face.
