Wow it's crazy to know that atleast 2 more babies are coming if Norge hasn't delivered yet. Congrats all the new babies!!!

Lillian is gonna be 7 weeks old tomorrow Faint Time has been FLYING by.

Due date is tomorrow, but I'm only at 1 cm and 50% effaced. So I'm just planning on being pregnant for another week or so, and hopefully I'll be pleasantly surprised. Coverlaugh

But I'm really loving this maternity leave so far! laugh out loud

I lost my mucous plug last night about 7 pm. Hubby and I went to the mall and walked and walked, but nothing happened. Then I woke up about midnight with painful contractions 11 minutes apart. They stayed between 4 and 11 minutes apart for about 4 hours, then pittered out. Ranting

Hoping for more action today. Smilie

Came in last night, placed cervadil. Cytotech this morning, water broken at 3:20, pitocin running. Wifey snoring away thanks to nubaine/phenergan.

Posting from the hospital bed with the lil' one on my lap. She arrived early this morning -- 8 lbs even, 21" long. She's absolutely beautiful and we are in love with her!

We almost ended up with a c-section because her big head was having trouble fitting through my pelvis. They decided to try forceps and once they got her down a bit with them, her heart rate dropped super low. So the doctor had to yank super hard and I had to push super hard to get her out alive. She wasn't breathing when they first got her out, and the cord was wrapped around her neck twice. Her first apgar test score was a 2, but then she perked up and her second was a 9. I ended up with a third-degree episiotomy Bigeye but I'm relieved that I was able to deliver vaginally, and so grateful she's alive!
