I've been watching laptops and even desktops for a while and I haven't seen anything that comes even close to this. Can you point to something better with similar specs?

I think G-Sync totally worth $100. Regarding 4K screen - really depends what you do. Photo and video editing - absolutely yes. Game plays, browsing web, watching Netflix - not really. But for the price it's no brainer. Smilie
