There is no specific end date for the program.

Each particular Coke promotion may have its own activity clause.

Barq's, Coke, Coke Zero, Dasani, Diet Coke, Fanta, Fresca, Mellow Yellow, Minute Maid, Powerade & Powerade Zero, Fuze, Pibb, Sprite, Seagram's, Tab.

- Values:
Point values per code are no more, All codes are equal value, but check promotion. Check packaging for a MyCokeRewards Label! Not all Coke packages have the MCR logo, (i.e. 6-pack w/glass bottles).
However, in Coke's Give Program to schools, codes still have different values to school donations, see wiki below!

- List of Accepted MCR Letter & Number Code Characters & Character Substition

There are 25 total characters, (letters or numbers only), that are accepted in 14-character MCR codes, (out of 36 available, A-Z, and 1-0). Five of the characters may also be input as substitutions for other similar-looking characters. Either upper- or lower-case letters are accepted. The available characters are:

Letters: B F H J K L M N P R T V W X (No C D E G* I O* Q S* U* Y Z)
Numbers: 4 5 6 7 9 0 (No 1 2 3 8*)

* The five accepted substitute characters for similar-looking characters:
  • B = 8
  • V = U
  • 5 = S
  • 6 = G
  • 0 = O (Zero, '0', is the officially accepted character according to MCR error messages; letter 'O' is the substitute.)

I got your point I did. Codes. I am a little bummed that coke is encouraging plastic bottles over cans. They are well aware of the world's plastic problem, are usually socially active in a positive way but have missed the mark on this one. I believe Greenpeace is trying to have the plastic bottles banned due to the mass pollution. Codes or no codes I won't buy them. I have plenty of neighbors and friends who give me caps from recycling centers and personal usage and I have my flap codes for now. I hear the flap codes are a half printed lately. If I get those I will call coke. Anyway, there's my tree huger rant. LOL If I can get one person to stop buying the plastic bottles and using plastic straws I've accomplished what I set out to. nod

Only entered once. Then decided I didn't want to waste codes on a sweeps that permits 100 entries a day per account. There's no way I could compete for a single prize against people with multiple accounts, buckets of caps, and the patience and determination to enter 100 times a day per account. Annoyed

Wasn't matter of giving up. I never have used a straw to drink soda from a can or bottle. Only time I use a straw is with fountain soda and I'm drinking it in the car. If I'm at McDonald's I don't get a lid and straw until I refill and head out the door.

Maybe you could find a way to give up the straw and possibly the lid when you are out. Maybe a reusable bottle you can fill up or the coffee style cup/travel mug with the drink through lid? You might not care, that's up to you. Maybe someone reading this will care and do what they can to reduce their use of plastics. Happy New Year! Peace

After your first post, I re-read some of the articles I've read before on cans v plastic. No reason to debate it here, one of the keys is to recycle all you can.

We have a strong recycling program here. We have the smallest trash can and two large recycling trash cans plus a composting trash can. We almost never have a full bag of trash per week.

I am the person who will take a bottle somewhere, then bring it home empty with me to recycle it rather than put it in the trash. While I prefer the bottles to have a lid (codes are a bonus), I usually factor in price per ounce into my purchase decision. Yep, I'm that kind of cheap!

Given the value of the codes in the caps, I have chosen to factor that into my price per ounce purchasing decision.

Interesting idea, I just subscribe and work from my Notifications & Activity page. I keep a page open on my phone and have the page bookmarked on my laptop.
I thought the same about the wiki...maybe delete all but what's currently relevant and have a link to go back to the previous thread wiki for historical data. We could even keep it updated so that when someone is looking for info we could refer them back to the wiki. Might also prevent 17 posts about the email they just got because people could easily check if the info was new. I know, I'm optimistic Peace
I don't subscribe to the thread, but I "sticky" it.

Well, I'm not sure people check the wiki enough to accomplish your optimistic goal, but I do like the idea of getting it cleaned up.

12 packs of cans are MUCH cheaper here than 6 or 8 packs of bottles. I buy Coke to drink, not for points.

I am optimistic as well that a relevant wiki would prevent repetitive questions. Depending on how/where you click on a thread, it will often take you to the first unread page for your account. So unless someone new to the Coke threads specifically click on the last page option, they SHOULD end up on the first page and have the Wiki right there for them to hopefully read. I more relevant wiki is not going to eliminate questions, but hopefully it will reduce some of the repetitive ones.

So thank you schnauzermomma for volunteering. I hope jimmy gives you the thumbs up.

Don't be embarrassed. I seldom use website apps. I honestly have never downloaded the Slickdeals app, so I don't know how well their app works. However, from my experience, most are a crappy shell of the website. I use Safari on my phone to access the site if I am not near a computer.
