Welcome to the official SD Coca-Cola.com/offers / Formerly My Coke Rewards Discussion Thread, proud to talk rewards since 2006! (We often discuss Coke promotions, (texting games, sweepstakes, etc.), which use Coke/MCR/codes or membership info to signup.)

Site: https://us.coca-cola.com/offers

A toast to My Coke Rewards, the Greatest Rewards Program in History! Applause

Coca-Cola.com Offers FAQ, (Formerly My Coke Rewards [MCR]):

- How may I contact them?
  • Phone: 800-520-2653 to reach an agent directly
  • email address: [email protected]
  • Ask Chip, your virtual agent, (formerly Allysa and Hank) on the site footer under the CONTACT US link.
- When does the promotion end?

There is no specific end date for the program.

- Inactivity

Each particular Coke promotion may have its own activity clause.

- Participating Products:
Barq's, Coke, Coke Zero, Dasani, Diet Coke, Fanta, Fresca, Mellow Yellow, Minute Maid, Powerade & Powerade Zero, Fuze, Pibb, Sprite, Seagram's, Tab.

- Values:
Point values per code are no more, All codes are equal value, but check promotion. Check packaging for a MyCokeRewards Label! Not all Coke packages have the MCR logo, (i.e. 6-pack w/glass bottles).
However, in Coke's Give Program to schools, codes still have different values to school donations, see wiki below!

- List of Accepted MCR Letter & Number Code Characters & Character Substition

There are 25 total characters, (letters or numbers only), that are accepted in 14-character MCR codes, (out of 36 available, A-Z, and 1-0). Five of the characters may also be input as substitutions for other similar-looking characters. Either upper- or lower-case letters are accepted. The available characters are:

Letters: B F H J K L M N P R T V W X (No C D E G* I O* Q S* U* Y Z)
Numbers: 4 5 6 7 9 0 (No 1 2 3 8*)

* The five accepted substitute characters for similar-looking characters:
  • B = 8
  • V = U
  • 5 = S
  • 6 = G
  • 0 = O (Zero, '0', is the officially accepted character according to MCR error messages; letter 'O' is the substitute.)

- Where do you find all the codes?
Here are a few ways...
- drink soda
- participate/lurk on this board
- ask friends/family/neighbors/co-workers to save
- dumpster diving
- jumping out of cars upon seeing flaps on the side of the road
- referring a friend on the site
- ask Maids to save for those who travel
- ask recycling centers to save
- purchase on eBay
- sporting events, zoos, parks, etc
- make trades
- become buddies with vending machine stockers
- become the vending machine stocker

1. I threw all mine away, but I would assume it's no good, because it was all based on points. Get 3 points for buying one. Cash in 30 points to get a free one
2. https://us.coca-cola.com/help/
3. If you are talking about this "Dark green circle, white bottle: Sprite" I guess it's OK to leave if it's up to date
4. Since it all refers to My Coke Rewards I would say it goes.
5. I think joanb3 needs to research that. LOL
What research? If caps can be recycled and the information to do so is accurate why take it down, It's a no brainer, Recycle your caps, keep the info available for all to hopefully use. Peace

Gimme 5: By Mail

If you don't live near one of our Gimme 5 retail locations, you can participate by mail. Before doing so, please check on the availability of #5 municipal recycling services in your area. Also note that some products, such as the Preserve toothbrush and very small items such as loose plastic caps cannot be recycled curbside. To participate, just box up your clean #5 products and packages and send them to us—we'll take it from there. Just be sure to include your name and email address in the spot provided on the shipping label.

To make this mail-in recycling program as environmentally effective as possible, we encourage you to keep the footprint small: if possible, reuse a box and pack it densely. (We'd also like to ask you to ship your package by ground, but we realize that it's not always possible to choose how your package travels.)

Unfortunately, we can't reimburse #5 recyclers for their postage costs, as the reprocessing costs alone are too significant. The good news is that we're continuously adding new retail locations, so there will be more and more places where you can drop your #5 plastics off for free.

Click here for a printable label, or send your Gimme 5 shipments to:

My original reply mentioned that the click me link for the printable label wasn't working for me. I got it to work in another browser.

Did you look at the wiki? I was asking if it was the best and accurate information. For example, in Austin we can recycle the caps in our recycling can. We even have a 'what do you do with it' search on the recycling website to help people properly recycle items. So for me, that info is totally useless.

I don't know for sure, I think mdyoung was suggesting with your interest in recycling you might have some feedback. By the way, thanks mdyoung for your answers to the questions! I can go with what StormRichards provided below as a replacement for the recycling, unless someone disagrees.

There was LOTS of old junk in the wiki up until now. Old, inaccurate and much of it presented as documentation by people I don't remember ever seeing comment in this thread. I'm sure I just missed them posting though!

Another question regarding the wiki...

Under the heading of: Other Threads on Slick Deals for discussing My Coke Rewards is this thread:

My Coke Rewards *~~- Contests, Giveaways, and Information Thread - Located in "The Lounge" Forum and is a bit more relaxed.

Looking at that thread, there was all of ONE post in the thread in all of 2017. It would seem there's no real need at this point for that thread? Or should I just leave it linked?

someone got that mod to actually change the thread name to discourage saying anything about coke rewards it says on topic conversation is frowned at. so i wouldn't link that thread to this one no one ever posts in there anyways

It is only natural for off topic chat to develop when you interact with the same people on a daily basis. What is too much is obviously subjective and there is always going to be some that aren't happy. I have never been to that thread, but it sounds like some got upset that Coke was discussed in it? lol I doubt there are many, even those that like off topic chat, that want to follow a second thread just to interact with their Coke friends.

There was a time on SD when some threads could get hundreds of posts in one day. Many of the 'big' threads had a chat or lounge thread set up for people who just wanted to bs a bit about the store, or with others who they'd 'met' through the thread. And some people would try to use the chat threads to 'hide' from those who weren't a regular the 'very best' deals. Someone was always fussing - either about too much chat in the main threads or too much discussion of a deal in the chat threads.

It kind of goes with the, 'you can't make everyone happy all the time'. Wink

I thought you were joking, oops and that the mail in option was listed in the wiki. Here's a link to add. Plug in your zip code and find a local facility that accepts #5 caps - good chance you'll find several near you, some may even be your local curbside pickup. If nothing comes up you can use the mail in option StormRichards posted.... Here ya go https://search.earth911.com/?what...ottle+Caps

Thanks for the link. I did a search and found that the Preserve Gimme 5 program has multiple drop offs at Whole Foods locations in my area. My municipality recycles the caps via curbside pickup, but it is cool to know that there are multiple Whole Foods locations in my area participating in the program.
