Welcome to the official SD Coca-Cola.com/offers / Formerly My Coke Rewards Discussion Thread, proud to talk rewards since 2006! (We often discuss Coke promotions, (texting games, sweepstakes, etc.), which use Coke/MCR/codes or membership info to signup.)

Site: https://us.coca-cola.com/offers

A toast to My Coke Rewards, the Greatest Rewards Program in History! Applause

Coca-Cola.com Offers FAQ, (Formerly My Coke Rewards [MCR]):

- How may I contact them?
  • Phone: 800-520-2653 to reach an agent directly
  • email address: [email protected]
  • Ask Chip, your virtual agent, (formerly Allysa and Hank) on the site footer under the CONTACT US link.
- When does the promotion end?

There is no specific end date for the program.

- Inactivity

Each particular Coke promotion may have its own activity clause.

- Participating Products:
Barq's, Coke, Coke Zero, Dasani, Diet Coke, Fanta, Fresca, Mellow Yellow, Minute Maid, Powerade & Powerade Zero, Fuze, Pibb, Sprite, Seagram's, Tab.

- Values:
Point values per code are no more, All codes are equal value, but check promotion. Check packaging for a MyCokeRewards Label! Not all Coke packages have the MCR logo, (i.e. 6-pack w/glass bottles).
However, in Coke's Give Program to schools, codes still have different values to school donations, see wiki below!

- List of Accepted MCR Letter & Number Code Characters & Character Substition

There are 25 total characters, (letters or numbers only), that are accepted in 14-character MCR codes, (out of 36 available, A-Z, and 1-0). Five of the characters may also be input as substitutions for other similar-looking characters. Either upper- or lower-case letters are accepted. The available characters are:

Letters: B F H J K L M N P R T V W X (No C D E G* I O* Q S* U* Y Z)
Numbers: 4 5 6 7 9 0 (No 1 2 3 8*)

* The five accepted substitute characters for similar-looking characters:
  • B = 8
  • V = U
  • 5 = S
  • 6 = G
  • 0 = O (Zero, '0', is the officially accepted character according to MCR error messages; letter 'O' is the substitute.)

- Where do you find all the codes?
Here are a few ways...
- drink soda
- participate/lurk on this board
- ask friends/family/neighbors/co-workers to save
- dumpster diving
- jumping out of cars upon seeing flaps on the side of the road
- referring a friend on the site
- ask Maids to save for those who travel
- ask recycling centers to save
- purchase on eBay
- sporting events, zoos, parks, etc
- make trades
- become buddies with vending machine stockers
- become the vending machine stocker

Anyone notice that if you search for some new product near you, like the specially crafted new Coke flavors, they default ti to just 3 miles from your zip code? My god, they must not think too highly of themselves to think that people would only be willing to go 3 miles to try a new product. And if I enter my zip code, MY HOUSE is not even 3 miles away. So something that might be sold literally in the gas station literally 500 feet away would not show up.

Even the 10 miles maximum radius is ridiculous. Does Coke think everyone lives in extreme urban environments. I know quite a few people who go 10 minutes for their weekly shopping simply becuae they don't HAVE a decent supermarket within 10 miles

Well I tried all four and 3 miles might be too far. LOL The Ginger and Lime to me tasted about like plain Diet Coke. The Orange and Cherry taste like Orange and Cherry soda. The Mango had a little taste of Mango, but to me it wasn't a flavor that goes well with Diet Coke.

I'm one of those people. The closest decent supermarket is a twenty minute drive away and not because of heavy traffic. I wouldn't drive even a mile out of my way to try the new Coke Flavors though, so far the reviews haven't been very good.

(Yawn)

Fanta Grape [fanta.com] and Fanta Strawberry [fanta.com] offer a "Thought of the Day" reminiscent of the "Magic 8 Ball."

Hey coke, how about a real prize?

Yes, the new locators have been popping up on numerous coke sites e.g Fuze [fuzebev.com], all with the same flaw, a ten mile limit. If you want to use them to find a product, don't put in your home zip code, put in the zip of the area where you usually go shopping.

Dasani has it right. https://www.dasani.com/product-locator.html they default to 25 miles.

Yeah I ran into that problem online so I had to either make multiple purchases or just throw them all on my Target.com account and use them at one time in the store.

I know you can only use 4 gc's Per order online...which kinda stinks..... do you know if you can stick more egiftcards on your target.com Acct to pay for purchases in store???

That still doesn't work, unfortunately. My supermarkets ARE in my zip code. One less than 3/4 of a mile away, and 6 within a 4 mile radius (at least another 3 if you increase that to 5 miles..and that was with 3 shutting down recently...something about an overcrowded area. Go figure. But it DOES mean I get a lot of stores to choose from with Savings Catcher.) But my zip code encompasses a good 12+ miles north to south and where the zip code points to is at the far Northern end..where maybe 3% of the zip code's population is. I'm not quite sure why that is where the zip code points to (on everything, not just Coke) since it is not where the post office is and its a very rural area with no businesses or anything of note. It is always annoying when I am looking for the nearest anything since it will bring up places 20 miles away before bringing up something right down the street. That's not quite as bad as my phone which, since I don't destroy my batteries or my privacy by turning GPS on, tries to determine my location by my IP, and therefore will give me places 100 miles away. That's especially nice for my desktop since Microsoft to accept that they have already badly lost the mobile market wars and therefore, the vast majority of their users ARE on PCs so they don't have GPS, so they don't even allow you to manually enter a home address to get relevant information from Cortana, which is why I took the extra steps to permanent delete Cortana from my computer so that the process doesn't even run in the background like it does if you just turn if off. Because, Gee, Cortana...I have a feeling that there ARE closer Italian restaurants to me than the ones a 2 hour drive from me that you listed.

It's just funny since most companies that have these locators go so far overboard the other way, thinking that people are willing to drive 50 miles for a new flavor of Ruffles or something. With that being the minimum you can choose. (some allowing you to go up to 100 or more.) It'd be nice if one company would find a nice happy, more realistic middle ground. Maybe start at 10, but allow for people who really want to travel to go up to 50. A default of 25 is OK. Still pretty far to try something new. But as long as they allow you to go down to 10 or so, that's OK.)

There is indeed a BracketRefresh coming and it is involves 7-eleven. Just got a Big Gulp and the cup says "OPEN POWERADE.COM/711 ON PHONE @ SCAN ICON ABOVE FOR A CHANCE TO WIN."

I think the store might have put the cups out too early because I get a 404 error when I access the site.

No limit to how many you can add to your Target.com account. No problems yet with using more than four at a time in the store on our Target.com account. I say "yet" because this week, in spite of having several nice Target cashiers assist me, I did have one NASTY "team member" as she called herself, that made some nasty comments about the ecards and I had to call the Corporate office about her attitude towards these Coke/Target ecards. The stupid store should get self check out lanes if the cashiers don't want to be bothered with people using ecards on their phones ! I found another Target near me that has self check out and will be going there from now on.

Oh good...more 3rd/4th round prizes that are useless to people not near certain stores.

Jason, if your code was expired, it would let you know immediately. Speaking of mail in forms, did anyone request codes by U.S. mail for codes to be sent in email for the Sprite Popeye instant win game? I haven't received mine yet and it has been a month.
I sent them in and haven't received anything either. I think I sent mine maybe two weeks ago though, so not as long... Guess I should have bought one of the cups when I had the chance laugh out loud I saw a few at the popeyes at my local mall, but at another popeyes, I didn't see anything even though they had the advertising up for this game.

That makes three of us Slickdealers who requested the codes then that haven't received anything. My requests for codes was mailed on Jan 30th. It wouldn't surprise me if the employees only kept a few on hand for people who asked for the cups and kept the rest for themselves.
