Welcome to the official SD Coca-Cola.com/offers / Formerly My Coke Rewards Discussion Thread, proud to talk rewards since 2006! (We often discuss Coke promotions, (texting games, sweepstakes, etc.), which use Coke/MCR/codes or membership info to signup.)

Site: https://us.coca-cola.com/offers

A toast to My Coke Rewards, the Greatest Rewards Program in History! Applause

Coca-Cola.com Offers FAQ, (Formerly My Coke Rewards [MCR]):

- How may I contact them?
  • Phone: 800-520-2653 to reach an agent directly
  • email address: [email protected]
  • Ask Chip, your virtual agent, (formerly Allysa and Hank) on the site footer under the CONTACT US link.
- When does the promotion end?

There is no specific end date for the program.

- Inactivity

Each particular Coke promotion may have its own activity clause.

- Participating Products:
Barq's, Coke, Coke Zero, Dasani, Diet Coke, Fanta, Fresca, Mellow Yellow, Minute Maid, Powerade & Powerade Zero, Fuze, Pibb, Sprite, Seagram's, Tab.

- Values:
Point values per code are no more, All codes are equal value, but check promotion. Check packaging for a MyCokeRewards Label! Not all Coke packages have the MCR logo, (i.e. 6-pack w/glass bottles).
However, in Coke's Give Program to schools, codes still have different values to school donations, see wiki below!

- List of Accepted MCR Letter & Number Code Characters & Character Substition

There are 25 total characters, (letters or numbers only), that are accepted in 14-character MCR codes, (out of 36 available, A-Z, and 1-0). Five of the characters may also be input as substitutions for other similar-looking characters. Either upper- or lower-case letters are accepted. The available characters are:

Letters: B F H J K L M N P R T V W X (No C D E G* I O* Q S* U* Y Z)
Numbers: 4 5 6 7 9 0 (No 1 2 3 8*)

* The five accepted substitute characters for similar-looking characters:
  • B = 8
  • V = U
  • 5 = S
  • 6 = G
  • 0 = O (Zero, '0', is the officially accepted character according to MCR error messages; letter 'O' is the substitute.)

- Where do you find all the codes?
Here are a few ways...
- drink soda
- participate/lurk on this board
- ask friends/family/neighbors/co-workers to save
- dumpster diving
- jumping out of cars upon seeing flaps on the side of the road
- referring a friend on the site
- ask Maids to save for those who travel
- ask recycling centers to save
- purchase on eBay
- sporting events, zoos, parks, etc
- make trades
- become buddies with vending machine stockers
- become the vending machine stocker

Can somebody explain the Coke Birthday $100 gift cards? My birthday is in August. How do you try to win one of those?
So Coke is discriminating against people who do not have B-days in March!!!! Unless they have this contest for every month but all I got was a SAC....

Same.

There is no rhyme or reason to how they dish out these offers. I read every e-mail from Coke for every family account I manage. No February offer received here.

You have to get an email inviting you. Or check the rewards in your own account. It's been discussed for the last 3 days. Wink

Hi...first time caller, long time listener. Does anyone know what Coke means by reseeding the NCAA Sweet 16? Do they just consider the top remaining seed from each bracket to be the #1 seed, down to #4. Or do they just seed whichever team is where the #1 seed would be to be the #1? Since the tournament itself doesn't reseed, they should really be more specific.

For example, suppose the #2 seed gets upset in the second round by the #7 seed. And the #3 seed is upset by the #11 seed. So the four seeds in one region are 1, 4, 7, and 11. How would Coke reseed them? If they just go by the top seeds, then the #4 would become the new #2, and the #7 would become the new #3, and the #11 would be the new #4 which would mean in Coke's eyes, the #1 and #2 could be playing each other in the next round since in the actual tournament 1 would play 4.

But if they just decide beforehand that whichever team is in the #1 section of the bracket is the new #1, and so on, then the reseed would be: #1 - 1st, #2 - 7th seed, #3 - 11th seed, #4 - 4th seed.

Because if it's the first way, then we can't know just how well covered our entries are until it actually is the sweet 16. The rules saying "ranked highest to lowest" makes it sound like it is this way. But based on the way Coke shows it in the brackets, it looks like it is the latter. Which does make more sense. Although then, we may think we are in good shape having the #1 and #2 seeds, but they could turn out to be the 9th and 15th seeds in that region.

I hope I made this clear. It is hard to really describe what I'm saying without a graphic of the brackets.

Highest seeded team (smallest number for those really not into basketball) will be the 1 seed in the reseed. So if teams 2, 3, 5 and 7 make it in the midwest bracket, those will be 1, 2, 3, 4 in the coke reseed. Everybody is going to win in this contest, it's really not worth fretting over.

Thanks Steve. I was totally confused what McReggie was talking about since I don't know squat about sports. As long as I win any of the prizes other than the Coke, I'll be happy.
