Windows tablet just about unusable for anything other than browsing without a keyboard. Gawd, I have no idea why they don't port Windows Mobile keyboards to the OS. It's killing me.
You know you can always get a bluetooth/wireless with receiver keyboard and mouse.

You can turn on tablet mode as well and everything is touch compatible.
I don't understand why these Windows tablets/convertibles spec-wise are so much cheaper than Chromebooks? Throw that processor, RAM, SSD and touchscreen into a Chromebook and you are talking at least a $600 system. Is Microsoft still subsidizing Windows PCs? Isn't ChromeOS free to manufacturers? I don't want to start a debate about which is the better OS, I just don't understand the disparity in hardware prices when the only variable is the OS.

You're exactly right - I was discussing this point with someone recently. Manufacturers are simply taking advantage of the relatively high demand for chromebooks. Since chromebooks require far less power and people generally use them for simple tasks, the specs become secondary. Whenever someone responds to a thread that the specs for some chromebook are not great, I normally see an automatic response from someone else stating that chromebooks don't need better specs! So manufacturers have taken advantage of the fact that chromebooks generally just work well for the simple tasks required by most users. But yes, they're overpriced based on the hardware.
I forgot the original reason I looked at this thread. Anyone use the Matepen with this tablet? Any idea how it compares to the Windows Surface active pens? I'm guessing these tablets will be dropping to the $300 price point this year.

That's the reason I never buy into Chromebooks.. There is no other reason besides greed as to why it's priced as such.
I see reviews bashing the keyboard mostly. But apart from that is this a good device for the price? I have no idea how much this brand commands or is it worth that price.
