It's actually a decent deal, since this is one of the larger cases that holds the dock, power plug, and a full controller.

Yeah, but this one doesn't have a storage spot for game cartridges which seems like an odd thing to leave out considering they included it with their smaller version.

Just paid $15.99 for the same one on Dec 27th. Only thing i don't like is no game storage.

Used it to fly on vacation and worked great getting here. Will see how it holds up going home.

You can buy a travel dock for like $30 which will fit into a smaller case. They take up about a 3rd of the space this one does and will still fit the original charger.

Can you share link to travel dock? Does it need you to harvest the board from your current dock to work or anything like that?

Nope. Basically a dongle. Pretty sure it works with the new MacBook too but definitely works with my switch. Brought it to Belgium and Florida with me in this case:

Another dock option is the insignia switch dock from bestbuy. It's $40 but comes with its own charger. It's a bit larger, but it stands the switch upright, which i like better so there's no risk of covering up the vents.

Saw on Reddit that the Nyko and Insignia docks seem to be frying Switches. Sending it in to Nintendo doesn't guarantee getting hundreds of hours of Breath of the Wild or Mario Odyssey saves back, either. Wish the damn zombies would join in when we try to slay Nintendo for not having a damn way to back up saves, preferably locally not cloud. Though, just something, for now. I'm so over cloud this, digital that, and the masses letting physical means evaporate to depend on invisible robots.
