I have this laptop - it's very good and runs everything I throw at it at 60 FPS -- however, save yourself the trouble and get this off Dell Outlet for $200 cheaper.

Size wise, this thing isn't light. Don't grab it if you're looking for any sort of portability. It's VERY quiet, the cooling mechanisms on the 1060 Max-Q are really hard to beat.

Not too much bloatware, but use PC Decrapifier and CCleaner if you want to replicate a fresh install.

Indeed! I was already downloading Steam games before I realized I should've done that, and got too lazy to actually do the clean start, haha.

I'll be getting Sony Vegas/After Effects this weekend -- with the CPU it has, though, I imagine it'll be very zippy. When I bought the laptop two-three weeks ago, they had a "Scratch & Dent" version for $750. I stacked a 15% all Inspiron laptops with a 5% referral coupon from Dell Outlet. Bought a $500 gift card from Raise for $460, and used a rebate site for another 8% off.

Windows has a clean start/fresh start feature built into the settings. All one must do is run that setting right away and you get a factory fresh version of Windows. Very good feature, but does sort of make their "Signature Series" PCs obsolete.

I also saw this laptop New for what I thought was the best price of $700 AR and coupons during Black Friday>>https://slickdeals.net/f/10926875-new-dell-inspiron-15-laptop-w-nvidia-gtx-1060-maxq-700?v=1
But based on kjvmartin's comments, I guess it was worth going for something even better for a little more$$.
