Another FREE alternative - Personal capital - https://www.personalcapital.com/f...l-software

If you question " Where to go to use the dropbox code and put the space in my account? "
Go to https://www.dropbox.com/coupon and enter your code.Peace

Everyone struggling with Dropbox offer:
From the quicken website, "Important: If you are using the 2018 release of Quicken and aren't seeing the Redeem Dropbox offer option, this is a known issue. Please try to redeem the offer again at another time."

See https://www.quicken.com/support/h...pbox-offer
**************************************************
For those wondering about Quicken's subscription software: I've been using Quicken for a long time (probably 15+ years) and was surprised at the subscription software. I typically buy a software every few years (often for free or almost free) and then use it until the next deal comes along.

I did some Googling. In the past few years Quicken split from Intuit. In 2016 they began converting to subscription-based software. From what I can tell, they have always sunsetted the "online" access in the software after 3 years. As they are pivoting to subscription software, in Canada, at least, they were also planning to lock users out of manual data entry after subscription expired. There was a lot of pushback, and on the US site (this deal for Premier), they now specifically say that after the subscription expires you can continue to manually add/edit transactions:
https://www.quicken.com/support/w...-guarantee
The Quicken Data Access Guarantee means that whether you renew your subscription or not, you'll always have full access to and ownership of your data. You can view, edit, export, and manually enter transactions and accounts, even after your subscription ends.
I am currently using Quicken 2016. I manually enter all my transactions, but I recently did start downloading/sync'ing info from an online portfolio (which is handy). From what I can tell, I'll likely lose that feature in 2019 when my 2016 software sunsets. At the same time, I kind-of hate to get locked into the new subscription-based software which, yes, they are giving away now, but, obviously, once they get everyone over to it they can then charge whatever they want on a yearly basis.

As I'm thinking about it, it's not a huge issue for me as the only thing I'll lose is the online sync to the portfolio/investing data.

Also, for those who are curious, the Google Cache of the Quicken Premier (official site) page shows a cost of $75 per year (a cache snapshot that was taken very recently):
https://webcache.googleuserconten...fox-b-1-ab

Why is Quicken giving away the software? All I can think is to get users to mass migrate - or, perhaps, it is some type of bug on their site.

CAUTION: PLEASE DON'T JUMP ON UPGRADING TO 2018 YET, WAIT FOR A MONTH OR TWO TO CONFIRM IT IS FOR 5 YEARS AND NOT 1 YEAR.

There are lot of reports that this is one year not 5 years.... Login to your account and see ....

^^^^ This is covfefe. A new version of Quicken comes out every year. So in 2019 it will be Quicken Premier 2019. The subscription is for 5 years. A new software download become available every year. You aren't stuck using Quicken 2018 for the next 5 years.

This entire "deal" is covfefe. It was just rescinded by Intuit, offering only two months instead of five years. Meanwhile, they enriched themselves with tons of email addresses for potential customers, and existing customers have updated Quicken to 2018, giving Quicken a shot at getting you to pay for an upgrade (only one version of Quicken can be installed at a time and the uninstall/reinstall fails a lot). I posted their retraction letter in the body of the deal thread.
Add this to the many questionable practices coming out of Quicken lately...

It worked, thanks!

What's more interesting is the 5GB increase to dropbox by sign in up. Go to your account then >
Redeem Dropbox offer to grab the code. Redeem that and it'll add 5GB more to your dropbox account!

Also, turn off Auto-Renew.

This is great. Used BofA ShopSafe to generate virtual number. Thanks OP!

Edit:
Looks like it's usually supposed to be $75/yr!
