This laptop is absolute garbage battery backup is just 3 hrs it says 4k but not even close to HD , even for light browsing this laptop gets extremely hot and on top of this fan makes unbearable noise just bought 3 days ago planning to return this weekend
This HP has a much nicer form factor. I almost purchased it, but not having a Costco membership held me back as my family was not willing to renew at the time of the deal a little over a week ago. Now it's up again, but I just made a purchase of the Lenovo this morning which I think is a better deal if you don't want to pay higher for the form factor, weight and fit & finish. Buying from Costco gives you a piece of mind for returns so if you get one working, then it's a keeper while you still have that long term warranty.

Anyone have experience with the MX150 graphics card? This looks very tempting, and for Costco to offer an 8th gen i7 with a 4k screen for 30% off so close to release is incredible.

Do you mind being a little more clear? What do you mean battery backup? Do you mean battery life when not plugged in? What are you doing with it?
I am ultra confused by "not even close to HD." Are you claiming that this laptop does not really have 4k resolution? This is when I have to say that I am completely skeptical that your claim is true. It is impossible that there is not a 4k display on this laptop.

I have this laptop and I do not have heat or noise issue. Also screen is 4k (though some say it is fake 4K) and looks quite nice.

It's ddr3l, lower power than standard Ddr4 and same performance.
I have a Lenovo 920 and my wife has a Lenovo 720s. I would highly recommend both of them.

I don't have battery life experience as mine is mostly plugged in.
If it is not in stock online, give them a call and provide item number to check if it in stock nearby.
