I put these outside my house in a dropcam housing and so far they work great. For 40 bucks I think they work really well. I out 32 gb cards in them so I can access all the videos instead of the 6 second clips. These r buy no means top of the line but certainly an excellent low budget option in my opinion

They record to microSD so cloud is only useful if your worries about the camera being stolen.
