I bought the 10ft in 2016 and it failed after 9 months. Contacted Anker and they sent me a replacement for free. The new one failed again after 4 months. Not sure if there is any issue with these cables. Bought several other Anker products and never had any issue.

FYI: lifetime warranty for this product. Wish they did the same for their micro usb cables.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but I've had mine since fall 2017 and mine is still working very well. I've connected and disconnected it 2-3 times everyday without any issues. It still "clicks" in securely.

Anker has a great reputation when it comes to customer service, usually if something is defective they'll quickly send you a replacement free of charge.
