Don't do it. Almost all the newly produced models has as flashing "white line" defect. I purchased one from Costco a couple of months ago and am already on my 2nd TV which also has it. Some people are on their 5th and 6th and still have the problem.

I'm about ready to return it and move on.

This would be a no-brainer if I needed something else from Dell. What is the going rate for selling gift cards?

probably worse than newegg with returns, been through Dell hell before on refund. I think Costco had this price recently with local pickup and extra warranty.

What a bummer to hear. I have a 1st or 2nd generation p65. I don't have this problem you mentioned, however I do have a red tint at certain areas. I contacted a third party company, that Vizio recommends/uses, about this and they said it's a defect that has no fix. Apparently other companies have the issue as well. :/

Other than the red tint, I really like the TV! The display is quite impressive! My background is in photography so I would say I have a much more keen eye for displays than the average person. Not trying to toot my own horn, just trying to state how good the display looks (other than the red tint :/ ).
