Ive never seen anything like this before so I dunno if this is overpriced or a good deal....

Does this have like a micro chip or something in it? Or is it just a piece of silicone with a barcode?

silicone and barcode. looks like its normally 20 dollars, but i would look at this like a convenience item, and not care about price if you feel its worth it. you could maybe wait a year looking for a lower price, but whats that lower price gunna be? at this price point, 10 bucks would be much better than this deal, but how long til you get the price IF that price comes around. then you waited maybe a year for 6 dollars savings, or you could have paid an extra 6 bucks and have the better med alert..

I dont think they have ever had prices as low as 10 bucks. Again this works for people that need it and dont want a medic alert band/necklace.

As far as I know it only has a Scan QR Code and all your medical info is accessible via an app available called MyID – Medical ID Profile on GooglePlay and iTunes.

thats good information, cause if you can use this, then it make it an even easier purchase. typically on items like these i might not impulse buy, and just pay the full 20 after considering it. the 4 dollars isnt a massive discount, and i'd rather pay 4 dollars more for something i'll use after consideration rather than 16 dollars on somethign thats not going to be.
