Update: went to local BBB and reps ordered one to be delivered to me and redeemed a 20% as well.

This is my analysis:

New from Dyson.com: $449.99 (before tax in some cases) (but you do get 3 extra tools)
New from Bed Bath & Beyond with 20% off Coupon (YMMV): $359.99 (before tax, ~$392.39 after in CA)
New from Dyson.com price matching BBB: After trying 3 different Live Chat reps on Dyson.com, I was unable to get a price match done.
Refurbished from eBay: $327.11 (after tax in CA)

So for someone like me, I'm saving ~$65 buying refurbished and not new from the next cheapest option which is BBB, and ~$123 from buying straight from Dyson.

Bed bath doesn't always work with the 20%. Also new is any day worth the extra cash compared to refurbished. Especially since the warranty is only 6mos vs 2 years. Good deal regardless if u want a refurbished machine.

I agree that it is. I was pulling my info from this most recent thread where it seems like a majority of users were able to get the coupon redeemed IN STORE.

I was not able to apply the BBB 20% off coupon on the computer for the V8, but decided to go into the store yesterday. The store I went into in NJ did not have the V8s in-stock but offered to order it for me and deliver to my house (Free Delivery via FedEx).

They applied the 20% off coupon right there at the store, and I was able to pay for the V8 on the spot, gave them my info and it's due to arrive tomorrow. With the NJ sales tax the V8 Absolute came out to just over $383.

BBB printed my receipt as well as emailed it to me. Basically it was as if they processed an on-line order but at the store, and applied the 20% coupon that I wasn't able to from my computer.

YMMV, but at the Springfield, NJ location they were more than accommodating with the 20% off, even for an item that wasn't physically at the store.

EDIT: The eBay listing shows $349.99 now

Wanted to add that I also went to BBB a couple weeks ago to buy the v8 absolute and saw that they didn't have it in stock. Woman was more than happy to order it for me in store to be shipped to my house. With coupon it was ~$381 and got it in 2 days. Ymmv but I've never had an issue.
