Always double check on these free items, they are great but can disappear in an instant.
I like to double check the receipt to make sure not charged.

To be honest, I do not understand the sense of cookbooks in the era of internet. You can find almost any recipe on internet for free. And google search is much faster abd more convenient than searching for the particular recipe in a book.

But as long as they're free, the worst thing that happens is you lose 10 minutes of your life skimming the book, and you may find a recipe or two, or even three, worth keeping...

With all that in mind, I'll also note that he has another one for free at the moment: Ground Meat Cuisine: Creative Beef, Lamb, Pork and Poultry Recipes [amazon.com]. I haven't looked through it at all yet, so YMM totally V, and as usual, check the price before hitting "submit". Also, in general, don't forget can always get a refund on ebooks bought on Amazon for some reasonably long period after purchase (at least a few days, maybe as much as a week?)
