Since we can be off topic here, Just wanted to mention that at Bath and Body Works, you get a $15 GC for a $50 GC purchase. I had a $100 GC that somebody had given me for my birthday so I purchased 2 $50 GC's and received 2 free $15 GC's. Then I used the free $15 GC's to purchase $15 of various things and used the coupon for spend $10 and get a free item up to $13 free. Then I purchased another $50 GC with the previous GC that I purchased, and got another $15 GC for free.
So in the end I still had $100 in GC's (2 $50 GC's) and 3 $15 promotional GC's.
With the 3 $15 promotional GC's I got:
Transaction#1-
1 lambie blanket (used $15 Promo GC)
1 Hand treatment (used free coupon)
OOP= $2.70

Transaction#2-
3 pairs of soft socks(used $15 Promo GC)
1 6' lambie
1 gift bag
1 hand treatment (used free coupon)
OOP.$0.54 cents

In the end I still have $115 in GC's to spend.

Just a very nice, snuggly blanket. I got it as a gift for my sister. We just found out she is pregnant with her first baby due in July 2009. Super soft, and since I only paid $2.70 for it, well worth the money! I still have a $15 promo GC left, I think I will go buy another one for myself.Cool

Had an awesome run today! bounce The customer behind me was pissed though and demanded to know how I paid so little for "...all that stuff!" Cashier and I replied, "Coupons." She said she uses coupons too and it doesn't work like that for her! Embarrassment

I will miss the W-is-ps and refills... *sigh* Just when I started to get the hang of it. Big Grin (Could it feasibly still work? Just not as slick with the GC?) TIA!

.Don't you hate when the person behind you is all in your bidness?Annoyed Once when I was doing my whispy, the lady behind me was right up on me watching the total go down, and then looking at all the stuff in my bags! I was just like "uhh.....look around"

I always try to go at a time when they are not busy, so it will be less likely that someone will be standing behind me scrutinizing my purchases. Coverlaugh

just for *shit and giggles* as my grandmother always says, have you checked the wiki? I believe it may mention something there. We aren't supposed to use them, we aren't allowed to talk openly about them, and they aren't allowed to be posted/hosted here on SD. There is no magical story outside of a bunch of greedy smash and grabbers taking advantage of a good thing and bringing attention again and again to something that would have been fine if left under the radar where it belonged. I do not remember a single chat in particular, but maybe you can search the forums for yourself for the many, many mod warnings on the subject. look around
Wow you are super nice. What other threads do you follow that I have no idea how the deals work nor any desire to read? I like how you spelled that out. And nicely at that. You my friend are a much bigger person than I am. laugh out loud

They seriously let you roll it that many times. I would think they would look at me as if I had 3 heads if I said, I want to buy a $50 GC with this here $50 GC.

Great advice. This was a first for me so I was looking at her crazily... I half expected her to demand that I show her exactly what was in my bag and what coupons I used so I just booked outta there! laugh out loud

Went to buy the Little Einsteins (Playskool) game thats on sale for $8 this week. Put my PS coupon down on top of it on the shelf while I was shuffeling through the rest of my coupons. Left the damn game with my coveted peelie on the f%$&%# shelf.
UGH.

Hmm... A gift certificate to a Nursing clothing store? I'm just trying to think of what she would need to use for her profession once she starts working.
