This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Hey guys-
I know this is really random but I just broke out my Mamma Mia codes to print out Fandango bucks for Xmas. But....although I did redeem the Mamma Mia part, I just wrote down the codes I got from that, and didn't enter them into Fandango yet. I just noticed to get the codes to work as a Mastercard, it says the exp. on the card is 10/31. Ahhhhhhhh! Does that mean I can't redeem the codes? HELP! *smacks self on the forehead*
Oh Noez!! I think you were supposed to complete the process by 10/31 Frown Try it and see what happens. What's the worst that could happen now? hug

GRRR! My SIL I got into a fight because she had some not so great glade runs and has been returning a lot of the stuff. She went to my store to do the return and had a lot of issues with the CSR, they told her she was comitting coupon fraud and they kept her receipt (not sure if it had the otto glade or not...Mad) so I told her not to return at my store because I don't want her ruining it for me! Made me so mad! I have been trying to teach her to do deals.
Now my brother is mad at me too! :sighs: Coupons....I am sad the glade is gone but happy too! Bittersweet!
I do not want anyone I know SD'ing my T's. I know there are others out there. There are a few in the SoCal grocery thread, but they are awesome and not at all smash & grabbers.

I don't even try to teach family and friends anymore for those same types of reasons. Best to keep it to yourself and then share your loot with them when you want to.
Nono2 I refuse to teach friends, mostly because they don't want to put in the work and I know they would screw it up and come bitching at me. Family is another story, they are quick learners and our stores are 1500 miles apart. laugh out loud

This is exactly what I do!! I especially hate giving out coupons because sometimes the company tries to take them back. Remember the Juicy Juice fiasco last year?(good.times) I almost emailed the q to some of my family out of town, but decided not to. Then I was glad I didn't.

Good Morning! How is everyone doing in the frozen areas? Hope everyone who can get to T safely has great last day gladay runs, and for those who can't enjoy the snow day with some hot cocoa!!
Our weather has been Crazy 30* one day, 75* the next. Saturday I had the heat on, today I have the AC on. Doesn't feel like Christmas Sadwalk
You sound like you are in our area

Me either and now my kids don't either unless it is chocolate. DH doesn't like it so we never buy milk.

.Don't you hate when the person behind you is all in your bidness?Annoyed Once when I was doing my whispy, the lady behind me was right up on me watching the total go down, and then looking at all the stuff in my bags! I was just like "uhh.....look around"

I always try to go at a time when they are not busy, so it will be less likely that someone will be standing behind me scrutinizing my purchases. Coverlaugh
Oh gosh yes....it is the worst when they constantly yell you save how much
you are getting all that for ???
how did you do that...what the heck???

Hmm record breaking 62 degrees yesterday, and I wore a tshirt. Now it is snowing out, like a blizzard.

Crazy weather + sick kids (my oldest is home today too) = no Target for me.

I love going on Tuesdays to get new movie releases!

Thanks!
I have decided no more teaching! If she wants to SD she needs to come figure it out herself.
Took me a whole year (almost) before I felt I knew enough. I only showed her the glade deal (tough season for everyone this year) And at 1st I didn't show her how sweet it was until she was with me and saw my low OOP and the Whi sp in my basket.Cool Hoped she wouldn't notice.
I thought it would be nice to have somebody to go to T with because it calmed my nerves. But now I will stick to shopping with DD and DH. DD doesn't talk yet (well nothing I can understand) and DH doesn't ask questions his eyes just get big and wonders how the heck we got all that stuff for free, I tell him "slickdeals baby." and he laughs! I know he will never attempt to do it himself.

Ok rant over now we need a new Target deal!!!!!!!! bounce

Hiya! Hoping you guys can help me. We ordered a camera off Amazon (and it is wonderful!), but I just noticed that the price went down a little bit and was wondering if Amazon would price adjust? Or is it a Nono? Thanks! Flowers2

Seems like there was a big bruha-ha a while back about them stopping their price adjust policy. You could try, but it seems like it ended a couple of months ago Frown

Oops! Guess I accidently quoted the wrong post - this is in reference to the amazon price match question.

I would still give it a try. I've heard that if it is more then $20 they will still adjust. I called trying to get an adjust for $6 and it was a no go, then something else dropped exactly $20 so I called back and they adjusted it. I've also heard that if you get the call center in India then just hang up and try again until you get one that you can tell is in the US. Lastly, I know that lots of people who have been told no by the first person that they talk to have gotten a different answer after being transfered to a supervisor. HTH! Good luck!
