It's the holidays and I'm almost done with this semester and I want to be happy, damnit!
I wanted to update on the Target deal too.
I talked to the DM today. He said that Lakeisha would never ever do a thing like that. He said that he will review the tapes, but I am wrong and she is right. He said that if I was using coupons than she has every right to see them. Fine, I agree. However that was not the point as I told him. The point was she was telling me I was using coupons when I was NOT! He said that again he will review the tapes. I said so what are you going to do about her getting up in my face and spitting on me (not on purpose, but as she was talking she was spitting!). He said that he doubts that happened and that she is a good LOD (HAH lakeisha you lied!).
Whatever. I told him that if he does not resolve to my satisfaction he just lost a very important customer. I told him I drive over an hour to shop at this store and have no problem driving the 20 minutes to shop at walmart. awipe...

Yeah, that was a pleasant surprise. I've been offline all day, grading and feeling absolutely miserable (physically).

I had a couple of great runs today. I so much Xmas shopping to do. So little time. Xmas party last night and then today. DD had a slumber party tonite at a friends and then birthday party tomarrow. Then a friends mother passed so we have a visitation on Mon night and a funeral on Tuesday.

The corporation I work for goes by the saying "The customer is always served." Therefore the customer may not always be right, but we still do our best to give exceptional guest service and fix the situation to the best of our ability. I so much prefer this way of thinking. Believe me if my customer's were always right this world would be a sad sad place.

I agree with your last sentence, and it is true. There are some customers who are not right and oh boy they drive me crazy! I have worked retail, I know what it is like. I have worked Target during the christmas season (in the toy section as a leader). I know what it is like! I just do not understand the stupidity of this whole problem. I am using coupons to save money. In this time of the economy it is necessary for most. I do not have to use coupons. I do it because I love it, and I enjoy the thrill.
I'd have a copy of the corp letter and I'd only shop when corp was open so that I could call them from inside the store if necessary. If you do end up having to call corp though, just keep hanging up until you get someone from one of the American call centers or ask them to immediately forward you to a supervisor. I've learned not to waste my time with someone who doesn't speak English, there is just too much of a communication barrier to get anything solved.

The one time when I had the red phone ring. I was actually planning on spending $$$$.
LOD came over and verified every coupon I used. I was told no a couple of times. No HP peelie after using $3 coupon. TGIF has to be adjusted down. There might of been something else too. But....every seen the phone hasn't rang and the LOD just looks bored when I get into line with a bunch of coupons.

I really don't want to sound like I am complaining when so many of you are buried in snow this week, but our weather SUCKS. Rainy and warm. I've had the AC on for three days now
Tonight is a family Christmas gathering and I was hoping to get by this year without any requests, not a chance, I've been asked to make home made egg nog again this year. Meanwhile, I have all those Organic Valley q's that I could use for free egg nog. I really considered trying to pass it off as home made, but it wouldn't work...so I am in the kitchen today making egg nog
