This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

I couldn't tell ya laugh out loud I don't normally CVS. I did the Duracell deal a few weeks back to get these and totally forgot about them. I'm not good with remembering to use the ecb's and rr's before they expire. Doh

Check out the thread lots of good stuff but today is the last day you can get them:
https://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?sduid=372875&t=1060791

And if your store is out get rainchecks (and burn your ECB's on a massage chair or something laugh out loud ) the stuff is still free and you won't have to worry about expiring ECB's anymore.

Thanks. I'll give the GC's a shot first. If not, I'm sure I can find something...I still need some stocking stuffers.

I keep having to explain: the reason why we actually have $$ left in the checking account at the end of the month is BECAUSE I do all this.

To him, it's proof we don't "need" to do this any more and therefore I should stop. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)
Mine, too.
He wanted to get some of hispeople gc's for Target........now it works in his favor. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

We had our family Christmas gathering last night. I felt like Santa. Cranium and hooded bath towels and videos for the kids, and giftbags of glade and Hershey's Bliss for the adults. Everyone loved them!
Don't mind me quoting this post, but I wanted to tell you that you are beautiful!!

I was reading the photoshop thread and saw your picture...I thought I'd tell you over here since there's no OT in that thread Wink

laugh out loud I know I know it was a plane "malfunction" not weather related, but I could not resist.
No kidding. Eight years living in Chicago = vomit O'Hare. One time we were waiting for a plane to leave and it snowed a little for like 20 minutes. Our whole trip got thrown off by an entire DAY b/c of all the subsequent flight delays.

It's freaking CHICAGO peeps; it's snows all the dang time. Get it together. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

My dh stressed every time I tell him I went to Target. Money is very tight for us right now so he thinks we shouldn't be spending any money and doesn't understand when I bring things home like zoopals and a big stack of greeting cards. I wish he'd get the overage thing and understand the stockpile of toothpaste and cat liter we have is because I buy things when they are free or on sale. I think he got it a little this Christmas when I had a stockpile of Glade candle and BBW wallflowers for everyone in the family. Still it is frustrating because I work to keep things afloat and he acts like I'm going on a spending spree. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) Sorry, I just had to vent.

I'm right there with you on that one! Dh goes over the credit card bill and reads off every Target charge but fails to realize that I buy everything at Target - food, stuff for the animals, house stuff and everything else that we need. So what if my monthly Target total is $200!! It's a heck of a lot cheaper then what our grocery bill alone used to be not to mention other stores like Walmart and stuff!!

Okay and since we're in the chat thread and I've already been hitting the wine, can I bitch and moan for just a minute? My 5 yr old ds went out to turn on our Christmas lights last Thursday night and our cat accidentally got out and he hasn't come home yet. I am so worried that something happened to him or someone mean did something to him. He's gotten out before and always come home within an hour or 2. I've went to every animal shelter around here, called every vet, put up flyers, posted online, and put an ad in the paper. Any ideas of anything else that I can do? Ugh, it's just making me sick thinking of him possibly hurt or something! Sorry, I know others have much bigger problems with human family members and he's 'just a cat' but he means a lot to us and I miss him and all of the annoying things that he does! Alright, I'm done. Thanks for listening, I can't say anything about it around here or the kids get upset all over again.

WONDERFUL GIFT!!!!

I am doing similar things for my SIL's this year. One of them bc she gets paid sporadically (she works for my FIL and the business is getting hit hard right now Frown) so the every day things like shampoo really can help her and the other bc she is a freshman in college, every bit helps there!!!
