I am at work today and left a honey do list for DH & DD which includes running errands. They have, no shit, called me 3 times in the past 30 seconds.

Yep, It is going to be an interesting day.

DS and I are going shopping at Penney's then to Target. Snowing pretty bad out there. I don't wish to be out. Dearest Daughter was supposed to show up at home for Christmas Eve. Yea, It changed from her finance bringing her, to I am meeting them, to I am NOW going to his parent's house. Yea, right. Nice going dear daughter.

I told her the Gifts will stay at the house until she shows up.

I am not happy. My family; mom and brothers also bailed out of coming to my house. S I am shopping. Rayovac and Goody and TGIF here we come Smilie

Have a good day everyone. I might have to buy a snow shovel. It is ugly out there.

Hey you guys, I'm no NASCAR driver (though some might get that impression) but if you're ever in a skid/sliding situation you need to PUMP YOUR BRAKES. It's intuitive to just slam on the brakes and hold the pedal down but please for all that is good on the planet, PUMP YOUR BRAKES. I had an "angel" experience once about 15 years ago where I could not believe how I didn't just go over a railing getting on the highway - straightened out just a micro-centimeter from it but as soon as I started telling people about how I slammed on the brakes everyone started telling me the same thing...pump the brakes. I've done it ever since and it does work... I just had a flashback - yikes - I'm sorry you guys had those experiences but oh so very thankful you are safe!!! heart Scary, scary times - and it's only December!!!

Jen - sorry for your asshat in-laws - you ARE the bigger person and sounds like you're handling it just fine for the holidays - but you know what? As soon as the holidays are over, all bets are off, sister... time to Smack & Boxing . Straighten their dumb asses out. Who do they think they are anyway? That really just frosts my ass... I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thinks this way. My dad got us a $100 GC to Outback. I really appreciate it and would never say anything, but I all I can think about is how much I wish it were a T GC. Ahhhh... the damage I could do with $100 T GC.
