Yeah - congrats!!! Hope it lasts!

We're going to start on PT when we get back from our trip - I've got mixed feelings about it. Diapers are rather convenient in some ways.

Yeah, you don't want to poop on Thomas or Superman Wink

Pee, poop, banana bunkers, etc, etc. It is an odd day if pee or poop doesn't come up at least once...

I just put all my TGIF into the handivac bags and tried to suck all the air out of the bags and couldn't get it to work. What am I doing wrong? I don't have the bags filled to the top, I put the suction cup on the little circle and press the button. I can feel it sucking, but the bag never gets the air out - at all. I tried 4 different bags, each with different items in them. (mozarella sticks, chicken balls, potato skins, and buffalo wings) I couldn't get any of them to work. Am I doing something wrong, or do I have a defective handivac? I've used it once before and I had a hard time getting it to work, but it did. HELP! I don't want my TGIF to get freezer burn!

I've had trouble with mine doing that sometimes too. I usually have to push down harder to get it to work.

Coupons.com has 2 $3 off universal studios dvd MQs.

Nothing really! I just have always let her come potty with me. Actually she goes into the bathroom whenever anyone is going potty (well my hubby, older dd and I that it, not our guests Wink) Anyways, whenever I stress to her about using the potty she doesn't listen. She peed again after I typed that this morning. It was after her bath. When she does it herself (without anyone prompting her to try) then she goes Dontknow

I haven't found any of those yet! I have been looking since Teri suggested it, but not much luck so far.

Show off. How old is she? DS got a potty for Christmas. Unfortunately, he could care less about using it.
Not showing off, just happy!! She is 26 months old. She has had a potty since her first bday. My momma got it for her. She believes in letting the kids play with the potty so they get used to it and then are more likely to sit on it. When I tell ppl that they get freaked out, but it is the same as any toy you get out of the box, no one has used the potty yet so it is clean.

Quote from sungoddess7 :
Teehee Thanks for the tip!! I may use that on my DD when she's a little older. She has a potty, but has no interest in it yet except to sit on it and read her books. Big Grin
laugh out loud Soph does that too! Definitely something she learned from Daddy!

Just go to the fabric store and buy some lace, ribbons etc and sew it on regular girls underwear. If she helps design the special panties, it will probably work better laugh out loud

You can also made fabric transfers with iron-on printer paper and use characters that the kid loves and iron on the figures.

The only downside.. kids love to show off their underwear to every stranger they meet Stick Out Tongue

I think I just found me a side job opportunity LMAO

Oh, I knew you weren't showing off. I'm just jealous. I'm actually glad to hear she's 26 months. I thought you were going to say 17 months or something like that. DS is 28 months, so maybe there's still hope for him Smilie.

I can't get that $%^& thing to work for nothing. I have bought more bags thinking I had a bad batch, I've changed the batteries, etc. NADA ! Annoyed

It is the complete opposite for me! My son is 4, and he only has been fully PT'd for about 9 months, but he still pees his pants at night. Annoyed And My daughter just turned 2, and she is actually PT'ing herself. I haven't pressed the issue, just bought her a potty chair, and some panties. One day she started going to the potty all by herself. EEK! Sometimes she goes the whole day only peeing in the toilet! I love it! No stress like my son used to give me.

It works good for me when I use it on my wood cutting board. Using the countertop is frustrating for some reason Confused

Not sure if this is the right thread to ask, but here goes. If I bought something at Target two days before Christmas, that is on sale this week, will I need to do a return/rebuy, or will Target adjust the price of my original purchase?

I think this is a new find Wink I saw these new glade oil candle holders with the angel whisper candles in them. They have the same glade Qs ($2 and B2G1) but are good until 2010 Smilie Also my local grocery store had the holiday candle holders on sale for $2.. used $2 Q. Got them because each one had the Qs inside of them.

2) As for PTing. I have 4 kids and they all did it at their own place. My DS#1 was 3 and a week. Did it himself. DD#1 was 3 and a month. she got PTed only because she went to school and didnt want to be changed when the other kids were playing. DD#2 was 2 1/2 and did it while we drove from CT to FL! Talk about fun EEK! She did really well and that was it. DS#2 was 2 1/4 and I honestly dont remember HOW he did it. I bought him new underwear and he just did it. All kids learn at their own pace.

I have a lot of trouble with my handi vac too. I wrote the company and all they did was send me the directions on how to use it. i did want to say it worked REALLY good in the beginning

I got a SD on a foodsaver for $60ish the other day here. Cant wait to get it. Forget the handivac.
